Приєднався 14 сер 2007
The RV Travel Channel is presented by RVtravel.com -- rvtravel.com -- which is one of the largest and longest running websites about RVing and the RV lifestyle. Our videos offer a wide range of topics for both beginning RVers as well as RV veterans. We are especially concerned with topics about RV safety - how to use an RV properly without causing it damage, or worse, harming the RVer.
Most of our videos are of interest to all RVers, but others deal with specific types of RVs including motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheel trailers, pop up campers and even park model RVs. Most of our videos are about RVing in the United States, but we feature topics about RVing in Canada. Our contributors are almost exclusively active RVers and include some of the best known names in RVing. Be sure to subscribe to this channel, and/or to our email newsletter, published weekly since 2001. Sign up at rvtravel.com/subscribe .

Three common ways full-time RVers get their mail
Do you hold the little button on? If I push the button it beeps and the light flashes - not near any electricity. Not clear from your instructions how it works. Push button once ? Hold button? Video not helpful to me sorry.
If I hit the switch for the element.. will that automatically take the propane out of the equation? Or would I have to turn propane off to be only on electric? Or do they both work together?
Thanks
That was an awesome trailer
That is super cool! If I came across that, I would buy and have it restored for sure.
Blast from the past ❤ But great
Sweet
Holy hell! He pulled that behemoth with a tiny half-ton truck!
I don’t really understand the stigma of living in a trailer. It is a better alternative to being homeless when things are tight. When I was a little girl, my father lost his job. We had a farm with 3 horses and 2 dogs and a cat at the time. We ended up living in our 4-horse trailer with our horses, dogs and cat. It was not one of those horse trailers with the living quarters either, but we made do. Fortunately, it was only for a year and then my parents managed to rent a place that would accommodate all of us.
I see a Henry J under the carport.
1952 Henry J that they have had since 1952
@@TheJaptin Sixty two years. Remarkable.
Sorry, seventy two years.
This is amazing. So cool to have her memories. I love the lines of the trailer. Very Jetsons.
I gotta think it would be a tough tow
Her dad was a legend! Sent his girls to college too! ❤
Amazing father and carpenter.
Try sleeping on the ground. People should be very grateful for any thing keeping them warm and dry.😊
What the heck did they pull the thing with?
Her father was an artist.
Wow just amazing and awesome and heartwarming to know its still in the family, i really hope you have someone to pass this on to it needs to be in the family or a museum . ...just wow , and your dad built it too what a great job ........
Trailer was built the year my mother was born... cool ❤
Cool 🆒😎🎉❤
Absolutely fascinating!!! 😊
I'm back four years later. SO COOL!
so cool!! lots of brands u dont hear about, dude commented on a 46 h-d trike , i said thts nothin ... factory...look at the custom built v.w. trike,( .brothers of the 3rd wheel ), anyone w/$$$ can buy stock or custom , ..but home built ??, just think ..if more people would think ,... and use their brains..
I bet it still repels water better than the new junk the rv industry is pushing out
*Dude, you need to learn how to record videos. It's aggravating to try and watch tours with the camera up close to everything. Step back and get the whole view instead of one little look at something.*
Grand design = Frame flex kings
Im sorry she called it a what! 😂
So basically Van Life before Van Life, except these parents were actually decent and caring enough made it comfortable and give the kids their own space (that, and they had a solid reason to van it up vs. most van life families where it’s all for clout). How cool!
It looks like a 1950s train car
Looks horrible both inside and out
I 've gotta say... I'm really digging this. This thing is just way beyond cool. Cool is just a tiny speck in this trailer's rearview mirror. From the look of things, her father put a lot of thought into doing this and doing it right. I'd swear it was built that way from the factory if she hadn't volunteered the fact that he built the entire second story and the slide out. PLUS, it looks like where it was last parked, he put on another addition off to one corner of it. I know it's 10 years later now, but I hope she still has it and currently lives in it. I'm sure it was a little tight for a family of four, but they found a way and it worked out for them for many years.
So much talking. No showing. Useless and full of ads.
Good story. Good dad.
She went to college in 1969... She could tell some stories.
I want to know how much it weighs.
Her dad was cool!😊
Didn’t Joe dirts parents live there ?
What uniquely American story! And a uniquely American family❤❤❤❤❤
What a great story 👏👏👏💟
WONDERFUL STORY!!!
Loved to see this restored
Cool.
Very very nice story.
There is nothing to be ashamed of when living in a mobile home. I grew up in one and I loved it. Lived in houses and apartments too. Now I’m 57 and my daughter and I live in a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 full bath mobile home. My sister and brother-in-law live in a 4 bedroom, 2 full bath doublewide that is gorgeous. They’ve been in theirs less time than I have mine and have already paid it off. Hoping to be able to get mine paid off soon as well.
❤🤍💙 Its time for an update as its been 10 years!!!!! #update
❤❤❤❤❤ so absolutely beautiful I grew up in a 1953 Stewart two story trailer that my father had bought used when I kid.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful trailer. I would love to spend some time upstairs. Making it cosy again.
I'd love to stay it now ❤
It's beautiful, your Father was an excellent Craftsman.
❤ think it's amazing and love the layout. Tha KS for sharing
